How It Works
CabinPulse takes sensor readings every few minutes and updates your dashboard every 15 minutes. You can also request real‑time updates on temperature, humidity, air quality, and power status from anywhere via the dashboard.
Sensor Accuracy: The temperature sensor offers readings accurate to approximately ±0.2°C, while the environmental sensor is calibrated to provide reliable humidity and air quality data. These measurements help you protect your property from issues like freezing temperatures or excess moisture.
Connectivity Outages: In the event of a cellular connectivity loss, CabinPulse stores your sensor readings internally. Once connectivity is restored, the device automatically transmits the stored data. In the case of extended outages, there may be data gaps as the device continually resets.
Battery Backup: Although designed to be plugged in, CabinPulse includes a built‑in 2000 mAh LiPo battery that can keep the device running for up to 3 days during power outages.
Alarm Detection: CabinPulse uses an onboard acoustic sensor and real-time on-device analysis to detect alarm patterns from smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors. No audio data is stored or transmitted.
Connectivity & Coverage
Network Technology: CabinPulse connects using LTE (4G), with fallback to 3G where LTE is not available.

LED Indicators
Front White LED:
- Breathing Mode: Gently pulsing to indicate normal operation.
- Reading Mode: A brief bright flash signifies that a sensor reading is in progress.
- Sending Mode: A pulsating effect indicates data transmission.
- Error Mode: A rapid blinking pattern signals an error.
Bottom LED: (Visible through the bottom vent)
- Breathing Cyan: Successfully connected to the cellular network.
- Flashing Green: Attempting to establish a connection.
- Rapid or Solid Red: Indicates a connectivity error or that the device is in an error state.
- Other Patterns: May appear during firmware updates or diagnostics.
Troubleshooting
No Data on Dashboard:
- Ensure the device is properly plugged in with a stable power supply.
- If the bottom LED flashes green, the device is trying to connect; rapid or solid red suggests a firmware issue.
- Remember that initial readings may take up to 30 minutes after activation.
LED Error Patterns:
- If the front LED blinks rapidly or the bottom LED shows rapid/solid red, try using a paperclip to press the RESET button accessible through the bottom vent. The RESET button is a silver button to the right of the glowing bottom LED.
- If issues persist, contact our support team.
No Alerts Received:
- Verify that your alert settings (phone number and email) are correctly configured in your dashboard.
- Check your spam folder for email notifications.
Extended Connectivity Outages:
- During prolonged outages, the device enters a low‑power mode while still recording sensor data.
- Stored readings (up to 6 hours) will be transmitted once connectivity is restored.
Temperature Reading High / Low after Power Outage:
- If your device is recovering from a power outage, it will aggressively charge its onboard battery to prepare for any future outages. This results in self-heating which cannot be entirely compensated for. Temperature can appear high or low as a result, because of attempted compensation.
- Waiting until the device is fully charged (30-45min) and temperature should be returned to normal.
Temperature Reading Low:
- Ensure you are using the included power adapter; your device is callibrated to work with the included 5V 3A power adapter and temperature may appear slightly low if another adapter is used.
I Want to Turn Off the White Light
- You can turn off the LED on front of the device. Use a paperclip to hit the button directly below the glowing LED through the vent on the bottom of your device.
- The bottom LED will briefly flash green and the front LED will power down. You can re-enable the front LED by pressing the button below the bottom LED again.
